Scientists test groundbreaking HIV vaccine in first human volunteers

Summary

This is the first human study of two experimental HIV vaccines given in combination. Researchers want to see if the vaccines are safe and if they trigger a strong immune response in healthy volunteers without HIV. The study will enroll 25 participants who will be monitored for about one year through blood tests and clinic visits.
