New swab test could spot Baby's genetic issues months earlier
NCT ID NCT06523543
Summary
This study is testing a new method to check a baby's chromosomes very early in pregnancy. Researchers want to see if they can get accurate genetic information from cells collected with a simple, non-invasive cervical swab as early as 7 weeks. The goal is to provide parents with important health information about their baby much sooner than current tests allow.
