Summary
This study follows 1000 younger adults (ages 30-55) who smoke or are at risk for COPD. Researchers will use CT scans, blood and sputum tests, and lung function tests to find early warning signs of the disease. The goal is to better understand how COPD starts and how to catch it sooner.
