This study tested a program where parents learned special communication strategies to help their toddlers with hearing loss develop spoken language. 105 children aged 12-18 months with bilateral hearing loss and no other disabilities took part. Parents received coaching via video calls. The goal was to see if this approach improves how parents support communication and how children use sounds, words, and gestures.
