Summary

This study tests whether giving aspirin within 3 hours of clot-busting treatment for stroke can improve recovery without causing dangerous bleeding. About 1,184 adults who had an ischemic stroke will receive either aspirin or a placebo. The goal is to see if early aspirin leads to better function after 90 days.
