First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study is testing a small, ear-worn device that can detect and predict seizures in people with epilepsy. About 40 adults staying in a hospital epilepsy monitoring unit will wear the device while their brain activity is recorded with standard equipment. The goal is to see how accurately the device can spot seizures and even predict them up to a minute ahead, which could help people with epilepsy manage their condition better.
