Ear buds that sense seizures before they strike
NCT ID NCT06598189
Summary
This study is testing a new, comfortable device worn in the ear that aims to detect and predict epileptic seizures. Researchers will compare the device's accuracy to standard hospital EEG monitoring in 40 adult patients. The goal is to create a less intrusive way to monitor seizures and potentially give people with epilepsy more warning and control.
