New nerve block may ease ear surgery pain

Summary
This study tests if an ultrasound-guided nerve block can reduce pain and the need for strong painkillers after ear surgery. About 56 adults having middle ear surgery will either get the block or standard care. The goal is to see if this approach leads to less pain and fewer side effects.
