Could a tickle in the ear calm your stomach?

NCT ID NCT03603730

Summary

This study is testing whether a gentle, non-painful electrical stimulation applied to the outer ear can improve communication between the brain and stomach. Researchers want to see if this stimulation can reduce symptoms like nausea, fullness, and pain in people with chronic indigestion (functional dyspepsia) or slow stomach emptying (gastroparesis). They will use brain scans and stomach measurements to see how the treatment works.
