Vets test Ear-Zap therapy to fight chronic pain without pills

NCT ID NCT06415591

Summary

This study is testing whether a small, acupuncture-like device placed on the ear can help reduce pain and improve daily function for veterans with fibromyalgia. Researchers will compare the real device to a placebo (sham) device in 240 participants to see if it provides lasting relief. The goal is to find a safe, non-drug option that could help people manage chronic pain and rely less on medications like opioids.
