Gentle ear zaps tested for troubled stomachs
NCT ID NCT03603730
Summary
This study is testing whether gentle electrical stimulation on the outer ear can improve communication between the brain and stomach in people with functional dyspepsia or gastroparesis. Researchers will measure brain activity and stomach function while participants receive this non-invasive stimulation during a liquid meal. The goal is to see if this approach can reduce symptoms like nausea, fullness, and discomfort.
