Zapping the ear to soothe a sick stomach?

Summary
This study is testing whether a gentle electrical stimulation device placed near the ear can help control nausea, vomiting, and poor stomach function in people with diabetes. Researchers hope stimulating nerves in the ear will also affect the internal vagus nerve, which controls stomach activity. About 60 adults with long-term diabetes and a confirmed stomach-emptying problem will try the device to see if their symptoms improve.
