First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether pressing on specific ear points (auricular acupressure) plus a steroid drug (dexamethasone) can prevent or reduce nausea and vomiting caused by a breast cancer treatment called trastuzumab deruxtecan. About 25 people with breast cancer receiving palliative care will take part. They will get ear acupressure and a dexamethasone injection before each treatment, and will track their symptoms for five days.
