First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests two types of emotional support programs for people recently diagnosed with chronic or metastatic cancers, including multiple myeloma. The goal is to see if these programs are practical, acceptable, and helpful for managing emotions like anxiety. About 30 participants will try either a guided self-help program or a combined group and self-help program, and researchers will measure how many complete the sessions and report feeling better.
