Can vaping help smokers with mental illness cut back?

Summary

This study is testing two different ways to help people with serious mental illnesses, like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder, reduce their cigarette smoking. Participants will receive counseling and text message support, plus either e-cigarettes or nicotine patches/lozenges. The main goal is to see which approach helps people completely stop smoking regular cigarettes for a period of time.
