Scientists test if cherry or menthol makes vaping more appealing to smokers

NCT ID NCT03635333

Summary

This Yale University study examined how different e-cigarette flavors affect adult smokers' experiences. Researchers had 130 smokers aged 21-50 try e-cigarettes with flavors like cherry, vanilla, menthol, and tobacco during lab sessions. Participants then switched to only using provided e-cigarettes for two weeks while researchers measured how much they liked and wanted each flavor.
