First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This early-stage trial tests whether adding special cells (E-CEL UVEC) to standard rotator cuff surgery is safe and possible. About 20 adults aged 45-70 with full-thickness tears will receive the cells at the repair site. The main goal is to check for short-term side effects, not to prove the treatment works yet.
