Major trial launches for debilitating muscle disease

NCT ID NCT07486934

Summary

This study is testing an investigational drug called DYNE-101 in adults with myotonic dystrophy type 1, a genetic disorder that causes progressive muscle weakness and stiffness. About 150 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo for 48 weeks to see if it improves muscle function, mobility, and daily activities. The goal is to see if the treatment can help control the disease and slow its progression.
