Groundbreaking Dual-Target Alzheimer's vaccine enters human testing

NCT ID NCT07142278

Summary

This early-stage study will test the safety of an experimental Alzheimer's vaccine called DUVAX in 24 healthy adults aged 40-65. Participants will receive either the vaccine or a placebo injection to see how well it's tolerated and whether it triggers an immune response against Alzheimer's-related proteins. The goal is to determine if this vaccine approach is safe enough for further testing as a potential way to prevent Alzheimer's disease.
