Spinal pulse may predict back pain severity
NCT ID NCT07233798
First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at whether the natural pulsation of the spinal cord lining (dura) is linked to symptoms in people with lumbar spinal stenosis, a condition where the spinal canal narrows. Researchers will measure pain, disability, and walking ability in 100 adults aged 18-85, and compare these to MRI scans. The goal is to better understand the condition, not to test a new treatment.
