Summary

This study tests a procedure called ReCET that uses mild electrical pulses to treat the lining of the small intestine. It is for 40 adults with type 2 diabetes and fatty liver disease who have not had good control with oral medications. The goal is to see if the procedure can improve blood sugar levels and reduce liver fat over 24 months.
