First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a type of exercise that mixes mental tasks with physical movement can help healthy women aged 65 and older improve their balance, walking, and quality of life. 75 women in China took part in 12 weeks of training, with some doing a special version that changes focus between thinking and moving. The goal was to find better ways to reduce fall risk and keep older adults active and independent.
