Summary

This trial tests whether adding dual-task training—exercises that combine physical movement with mental challenges like counting or naming categories—to standard physiotherapy can improve balance and reduce fall risk in people with a single leg amputation who use a prosthesis. Forty adults aged 18 to 60 will be randomly assigned to either dual-task training plus conventional therapy or conventional therapy alone for 8 weeks. Balance and fall risk are measured before and after the program using specialized equipment and clinical tests.
