Brain-Body workouts tested to help COPD patients breathe and think better
NCT ID NCT05930158
Summary
This study tested if adding simple mental tasks to standard walking and cycling exercises could help people with COPD. Over 8 weeks, researchers compared a group doing these combined 'dual-task' exercises with a group doing standard exercises alone. They wanted to see if the added mental challenge could improve breathing, balance, thinking skills, and quality of life.
