First seen May 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at whether a special type of CT scan (dual-energy CT) can more accurately tell the difference between bleeding and harmless contrast dye after stroke treatment. About 189 adults who had a stroke and received clot-busting drugs or a clot-removal procedure took part. The goal is to help doctors make better treatment decisions by using this advanced imaging.
