First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using a drug-coated balloon together with a drug-eluting stent works better than using either device alone to open blocked heart arteries in people with diabetes. About 120 participants will be randomly assigned to one of three treatment groups. The goal is to see which approach keeps arteries open best at 6 months.
