Double device heart fix trial aims to beat blocked arteries in diabetics
NCT ID NCT07303439
Summary
This study is testing whether using two different artery-opening devices together is better than using just one for people with diabetes and blocked heart arteries. It will involve 120 participants across four hospitals in Ireland. Patients will be randomly assigned to receive either a drug-coated balloon, a drug-coated stent, or both devices combined, and their artery health will be checked after six months.
