New hope for young cancer patients: drug duo targets resistant tumors

Summary
This study tests a new drug combination (DT2216 plus irinotecan) in children, teens, and young adults whose solid tumors have returned or not responded to treatment. The goal is to find the safest dose and see if the combo can shrink tumors, especially in a rare liver cancer called fibrolamellar carcinoma. About 81 participants will take part in two phases.
