Could a simple finger prick replace painful blood draws?
NCT ID NCT07435285
Summary
This study aims to find out if a simple finger-prick blood spot test can measure inflammation markers as accurately as a traditional blood draw from the arm. Researchers will compare both methods in 50 adults after they experience a planned, temporary stressor like getting a vaccine. The goal is to see if the easier finger-prick method could be a reliable alternative for future research and healthcare.
