First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study compares two treatments for tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis): ultrasound-guided dry needling and shock wave therapy. Sixty adults aged 18-65 with symptoms lasting at least 6 weeks will receive five weekly sessions of one treatment plus a home exercise program. Researchers will measure pain, grip strength, and function right after treatment and at 3 and 6 months to see which approach works better.
