Eye drop showdown: which treatment better protects vision after cataract surgery?
NCT ID NCT07397936
Summary
This study compared two different eye drop treatments for managing dry eye in people getting cataract surgery. Fifty-five patients with existing dry eye used either one medication alone or a combination of two medications starting one month before surgery and continuing for three months after. Researchers measured which treatment better maintained tear film stability, reduced symptoms, and controlled inflammation during the recovery period.
