Personalized eye drops get a moisturizing boost in new dry eye study
NCT ID NCT07413172
Summary
This study is testing if adding a common moisturizing ingredient (sodium hyaluronate) to personalized serum eye drops makes them work better for people with moderate-to-severe dry eye disease. Each of the 20 participants will use the new formula in one eye and the standard formula in their other eye to directly compare comfort and healing. The goal is to see if the new combination provides better symptom relief and improves the health of the eye's surface.
