First seen Feb 11, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study compares two eye drop treatments—rebamipide and diquafosol—for managing dry eye disease in people having cataract surgery. About 60 adults with mild to moderate dry eye will use one of the drops for one month before and three months after surgery. The goal is to see if one treatment is as good as the other at improving tear film stability and reducing dry eye symptoms.
