Summary
This study is testing if participating in weekly community drum circles for 8 weeks can help reduce anxiety and increase feelings of connection. It focuses on including Persons of African Descent and other marginalized groups who are often left out of mental health research. Researchers will measure stress levels and brain activity to see if this musical, community-based activity provides mental health benefits.
