NCT ID NCT06794606

First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at ways to better diagnose and treat people with drug-resistant focal epilepsy, a condition where seizures start in one part of the brain and don't respond to medication. About 337 adults will be followed to see how well different treatments—like surgery, focused ultrasound, or nerve stimulation—work. The goal is to improve patient selection for these therapies and understand what causes the epilepsy.
