Healthy volunteers help uncover drug interactions for new compound

NCT ID NCT07018635

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This completed phase 1 study looked at how three common drugs—an antifungal (itraconazole), an antibiotic (rifampin), and acid reducers (esomeprazole, famotidine)—change the way a new experimental drug (INCB161734) moves through the body. Sixty-three healthy adults aged 18 to 55 took part. The goal was purely to gather safety and drug-level data, not to treat any disease.
