First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tests whether a drug-coated balloon is better than a drug-eluting stent for treating complex blockages in heart arteries. About 520 adults with coronary artery disease will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments. The goal is to see which approach reduces the risk of major heart problems like heart attack or death.
