First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether drones can deliver automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to people having a cardiac arrest in rural areas faster than emergency services. About 128 adults who suffer cardiac arrest will be included. The goal is to see if drone delivery is quick enough to justify a future trial on saving lives.
