Virtual driving school aims to get stroke survivors safely back on the road
NCT ID NCT06672107
Summary
This study is testing whether a special driving simulator training program helps veteran stroke survivors improve their driving skills and safety. One hundred veterans who have had a stroke will try both a targeted training program and a basic simulator familiarization program to see which works better. The training focuses on specific skills like speed control, avoiding collisions, staying in the lane, and checking dashboard instruments.
