Scientists test ancient dream techniques with VR to ease modern anxiety
NCT ID NCT07217340
Summary
This study tested whether a modern program based on ancient Tibetan Dream Yoga practices is practical to run. The program combined guided meditation, virtual reality, and techniques to become aware during dreams (lucid dreaming). Researchers enrolled 25 adults to see if people could stick with the program and to look for early signs it might improve sleep, dreaming, and mental flexibility, with a long-term goal of supporting well-being.
