Can dream yoga ease anxiety? small study tests feasibility

NCT ID NCT07217340

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tested whether a modern version of Tibetan Dream Yoga—using meditation, guided imagination, lucid dreaming, and virtual reality—could be delivered to healthy adults with mild anxiety. 25 participants were randomly assigned to either the Dream Yoga program or a general health and sleep education group. The main goal was to see if people would join, stick with it, and find it acceptable, not to measure health outcomes. Early results will guide future research on whether this approach might improve sleep, thinking, and well-being.
