Can a play change minds on HIV prevention?
NCT ID NCT06501885
Summary
This study created and tested a short play (an 'ethnodrama') designed to reduce community stigma against young women in Kenya who use PrEP, a daily pill to prevent HIV. Researchers gathered feedback from 63 people, including young women, their partners, family, and community leaders, to see if the storylines were believable and could change attitudes. The goal is to create a tool that helps communities support women's health choices.
