Summary

This study looked at whether playing active video games (exergames) is as good as traditional aerobic exercise for improving physical fitness, daily function, and thinking skills in people with Down syndrome. 44 participants with mild to moderate intellectual disability took part. The goal was to see if a fun, game-based approach could offer similar benefits to standard exercise.
