Summary
This study tested whether using two different nerve blocks together, instead of just one, can reduce the amount of strong painkillers (opioids) needed after lung surgery. 112 adults scheduled for video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery received either a single block or a double block with the anesthetic ropivacaine. The main goal was to see if the double block lowered opioid use.
