Could donor milk offer safer option for HIV-Exposed babies?

NCT ID NCT06955715

Summary

This study is exploring whether providing pasteurized donor human milk to infants born to mothers with HIV is a practical feeding option. Researchers will give donor milk to 10 families in Saskatchewan for 6-8 weeks and track how often it's used and any challenges. The goal is to learn if this approach is feasible and acceptable to caregivers, which could guide future programs to expand access.
