DNA test could help cancer patients stop risky blood thinners
NCT ID NCT07399977
Summary
This study is testing a new software tool that analyzes DNA from a simple blood test. The goal is to see if this tool can accurately predict which cancer patients are at low risk for their blood clots returning. If successful, it could help doctors safely stop blood thinner medication for low-risk patients, avoiding unnecessary side effects and costs.
