First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study involves 150 people with diabetic macular edema (DME) who are either starting treatment with anti-VEGF injections or a dexamethasone implant, or have not been treated before. Researchers will measure various substances in the blood and use eye scans to see if these markers can predict how well someone responds to treatment. The goal is to better understand which treatment might work best for each person.
