First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at 556 people with complex coronary artery blockages to see if using ultrasound (IVUS) to guide a special stenting technique works better than using standard X-ray guidance. The goal is to lower the chance of heart-related death, heart attack, or needing another procedure within a year. Participants receive drug-coated stents and are followed for 12 months.
