First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study uses a realistic simulator to see if a special 3D lung display (called a 'Digital Twin') helps doctors feel less stressed and find breathing problems faster compared to standard monitors. About 34 ICU doctors will manage four different emergency scenarios, and their mental workload and diagnosis speed will be measured. The goal is to learn if this visual tool can improve decision-making in critical care.
