Summary

This study tested a digital program designed to prevent teens from starting to misuse opioids. Over 500 high school students who had never misused opioids but were considered at risk took part. The program aimed to increase their awareness of the dangers of prescription opioid and heroin misuse. The main goal was to see if more students in the program understood the great risk of harm from these drugs after 3 months, compared to those who did not use the program.
