Digital brain guardian aims to stop Post-Surgery confusion
NCT ID NCT06445153
Summary
This study is testing a digital support system designed to help hospital staff follow established guidelines to prevent postoperative delirium, a common and serious confusion state after surgery. It will involve 800 patients aged 70 and older having elective surgery. The main goal is to see if the digital tool helps staff better follow prevention steps and reduces the number of days patients experience delirium.
